Inhabitants of the 8000 Pseudoliparis swirei, a seemingly harmless fish with a tadpole-like appearance, actually conceals two pairs of powerful jaws. The main jaw has very sharp teeth, while the rear jaw has blunt teeth. This combination is perfect for biting any kind of prey. After all, food is scarce at these depths, and when a ‘gift’ comes, you have to be ready.
