When it comes to eating fish, most people tend to choose the same species: Tuna, cod, salmon, sea bass and sea bream are among the most sought-after species in markets and restaurants. The constant consumption of the same species puts undue pressure on certain fish stocks and jeopardises not only their survival, but also the entire fishing industry. If we want to preserve marine biodiversity and continue to enjoy fish stocks in the future, we need to change our consumption habits.
